New Delhi: Following the demise of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth on Thursday, King Charles will be formally declared as Britain’s new ruler at a gathering of the Accession Council at St James’ Palace on Saturday. Buckingham Palace said King Charles, 73, had loaded onto a trip to London. As Sky News reports, King Charles was with his mom at his dearest Scottish Highlands home as his wellbeing decayed.
Charles will get back to the money to have conversations with Prime Minister Liz Truss as King. After this, he will address the country on TV at 6 pm.
As Sky News reports, prior to leaving the plane destined for London, he ventured out with a heap of papers and halted in the downpour to shake hands and talk with the staff. The couple went through the night at Balmoral following the demise of the 96-year-old ruler, whom they portrayed as “sovereign and an exceptionally cherishing mother”.
