TLC’s star was taken into custody following a June arrest for driving under the Influence in Florida.
“Welcome To Plathville” Reality TV star Kim Plath was arrested for driving under the influence in Florida.
Plath, 50, was reportedly arrested by the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office while she was serving a warrant from another agency for an incident that occurred in June.
According to InTouch Weekly documents, the crash that resulted in property damage and injury to the mother-of-7 was reported by InTouch Weekly.
At around 11:52 PM on June 10, records showed that there was a single vehicle collision in the Port Leon Drive region. A police officer observed that a vehicle travelling south had made a left turn, then “overturned,” before finally settling on its roof in a ditch (filled full of water).
According to the report, Plath was identified by the officer as the only occupant of vehicle and was “still in driver’s seat” after witness aid was given.
According to the report, Kim “appeared intoxicated and had an alcoholic smell emanating from her body and breath.”
Plath had lacerations and scrapes on his face, according to authorities.
According to the report, “Ms. Plath was wearing a cervical collar and was lying on her stomach as she was taken into the Emergency Room.” Ms. Plath appeared conscious and was in a daze. She also had very red-colored eyes. Ms. Plath had Ptosis (droopy eyeslids) as well as Mydriasis, which is dilated pupils.
Plath answered “two 12-ounce margaritas” when Plath was first asked about her alcohol consumption before she got behind the wheel. Plath replied that she had “nothing” and was again asked about her alcohol intake by the “TLC” network star.
A statement stated that she received the toxicology report from FDLE lab on September 3, 2022. The blood test on Ms. Plath revealed a.161 BAC and.162 BAL [blood alcohol content].” I executed a Warrant Affidavit for Ms. Plath regarding DUI (Property Damage), 316.193c1 and was issued a UTC to Careless Driving.”
Kim and Barry, her estranged husband announced their separation earlier this year, after having been married for 24 years.
As they raise a family in modern times, their ultra-conservative lifestyle and their children have been the focus of their reality show.
They shared their decision to end their marriage with People magazine in a joint statement.
They said that although it was difficult to make the decision, they know it is the right one for them. “We have experienced many highs, lows, and happy times in our 24 year marriage. As we move into this new chapter of our lives, we will be co-parenting our wonderful children.
