Megan Thee Stallion also summarized the reasons Russia attacked Ukraine in an illustration

Megan The Stallion guest hosted for “Saturday Night Live” on NBC in an episode that contained humorous references to the House Select Committee Investigating the Capitol Riot on Jan 6 and the Russian attack on Ukraine.

The performer and rapper, who is 27 years old is well-known for her charisma and flashy attire she wore a mesh outfit when she introduced the crowd live.

The show’s opening sketch began with veteran actors Kenan Thompson as well as Heidi Gardner depicting members of the Democratic-led House Jan. 6 Committee.

Thompson who played the role of the role of Committee Chair Bennie Thompson The actor opened the program by explaining how the hearings were planned to prevent another riot like the one that occurred on the 6th of January, 2021.

“We assembled a team of monotone nerds to do a PowerPoint,” the comedian joked.

Gardner As Liz Cheney, laughed that they were boring, and Republicans weren’t “not watching” them.

“Whether you’re a Republican who’s not watching or a Democrat who’s nodding so hard your head is falling off, one person is responsible for this insurrection, Donald Trump, and one person will suffer the consequences, me,” she added.

Gardner has also gone on in her own monologue on her childhood, including being the daughter of the former vice president Dick Cheney and how the Cheney family influenced her young years.

“You might wonder, how do you have the guts to take on your entire party alone? And I would say, who tucked you in at night? Was it Dick Cheney? I guess you could say I have big Dick Cheney energy,” she laughed.

The clip also poked the fun of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and also new video footage of the day the protests took place was released at an open committee session on Thursday.

Chloe Fineman, playing Pelosi phoned emergency services as Schumer who is performed by Sarah Sherman, is busy making orders at DoorDash.

“If Trump comes, I’m gonna punch him out, and then I’m going to jail,” Fineman’s Pelosi recalls, rewriting the exact words Pelosi spoke during the broadcast segment.

Gardner’s Liz claimed that Trump “will testify,” in line with the statement of the Wyoming Rep.’s official statement. The other Committee members said they will also be holding Trump accountable.

Thompson ends: “I want to thank my colleagues for throwing away their summers and in some cases their careers to serve on this committee.”

In the course of the show, Colin Jost and Michael Che also joked about the Jan 6 investigation and the response of Trump to being subpoenaed by a committee.

“Ok Unabomber,” Jost declared, referring to Trump’s lengthy letter in front of the panel.

The duo, who also co-anchor the news program, made fun of Elon Musk Kanye West and New York congressional candidate Mike Itkis who put together a sexy tape to promote his campaign.

The 48th season of Saturday Night Live was launched on the 1st of October, 2022 including Miles Teller hosting and a performance by Kendrick Lamar.
