The Eagles hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday afternoon, their intrastate foe. This was the first time the Eagles had hosted them since 2016.

The Eagles began on defense - Haason Reddy quickly built momentum by sacking Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett at Pittsburgh 18. This resulted in a loss 8 yards for the Steelers within two minutes.

Jalen Hurts capitalized upon the following possession by completing a 39 yard deep middle pass to A.J. Brown, the culmination of a 9 play, 68 yard drive.

The Steelers did the same in a 13 play 75-yard drive. After receiving a delay-of-game penalty from the Eagles on fourth-and goal, Pittsburgh decided to pursue it.

This was the Steelers' first touchdown at Lincoln Financial Field. In 2008 and 2016, both of their previous visits to the stadium, the Steelers failed to reach the end zone.

A Brown-Hurts connection! The Eagles took the lead once again in the second quarter by scoring a touchdown. With 12:53 left in the first half, Hurts found Brown and completed a 27-yard pass to the end zone.

 Darius Slay almost had his fourth interception of season with 7:47 left. His reaction revealed that he wanted it taken away. He still blocked Pickett's pass for Diontae Johnson production.
