LeBron James Comments On Lakers' Trade Plans Amid Anthony Davis' Injury
SPORTE PORTS At this stage in the season, Lakers are on the verge of going into panic mode after Davis sustained yet another injury that will keep him out for a long time.
Even though the team is currently within reach of the playoffs, this may change if James & company are unable to steer the ship without their star big man in the mix.
It is hardly unexpected that, in light of the most recent Davis injury, trade speculations have suddenly become more active.
Additionally, the trade deadline is coming up soon, which increases the pressure on the Lakers to make big roster adjustments as soon as possible.
But for his part, it appears that LeBron is content to step part aside and allow the front staff handle matters:
When questioned about the Lakers' trade strategies in light of Davis' injury, James said, "Not a question for me, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
"I have no idea. When I'm playing, I show up, prepare, go to work and get my guys ready to go win a basketball game."
"I play the game, I'm not in the front office, so we'll see. But I'm focused on the game and us trying to win basketball games, especially when I'm out on the floor."
LeBron James has enormous influence within the Lakers organisation, therefore it is virtually unlikely to think that he will be totally uninvolved in personnel choices in the near future.
