Yankees are able to avoid elimination against Guardians Take Game 4 in the back of Gerrit Cole’s strong start

Cole had seven strong innings, throwing 110 pitches and allowing just two runs.

However, the Yankees were able to put on another run thanks to Giancarlo Stanton throwing an infield ball to left center field however, Kwan was able to track it down and score the sacrifice fly, instead of a double-RBI hit.

Cole was forced to leave the game after seven innings and 110 pitches of work. He surrendered two earned runs, while striking eight Guards and walking only one.
